What interior painting covers

Walls and ceilings

Walls are patched and sanded before painting, and ceilings get a flat, even finish that helps hide minor imperfections. We plan colors and sheens so each room looks finished, not just freshly coated.

Baseboards, trim, doors and stairways

Baseboards, casings, interior doors, railings and stair parts take more wear than walls. They are cleaned, sanded, caulked where needed and finished in a durable sheen that wipes clean.

Every kind of room

Bedrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, laundry rooms and basements. Kitchens and bathrooms get finishes chosen for moisture and frequent cleaning.

Furniture and floor protection

Furniture is moved toward the center of the room and covered, floors are protected with drop cloths, and switch plates and fixtures are handled before painting starts. Work areas are tidied at the end of each day.

Surface preparation

Most of the result comes from preparation. Depending on the surface, that means filling nail holes and dents, repairing cracks, sanding, caulking gaps in trim and priming patches, stains or bare surfaces so the finish coat looks even.

Colors and sheens

We help you choose colors during the walkthrough and recommend a sheen for each surface, such as flatter finishes for ceilings, eggshell or satin for walls and harder-wearing finishes for trim and doors. We often use Sherwin-Williams paints; the right product depends on the room and surface.

Common questions

Do I need to move my furniture?

It helps if you clear small items, valuables and wall décor. We can move and cover larger furniture as part of the project, which we confirm during the walkthrough.

How long does an interior painting project take?

It depends on the number of rooms, ceiling height, the amount of repair work and color changes. We give you an expected schedule with your estimate rather than a one-size-fits-all number.

Can we stay in the house while you paint?

Yes. Most homeowners stay home during interior work. We plan the order of rooms so the spaces you rely on stay available as much as possible.

What paint do you use?

We often use Sherwin-Williams interior paints. The specific product and sheen are chosen for each surface and room, and we are happy to discuss options with you.

Do you repair drywall before painting?

Yes. Small holes, dents, cracks and nail pops are part of normal preparation. Larger drywall repairs are described separately in your estimate.

Is the work covered by a warranty?

Yes. Our painting is backed by a 3-year workmanship warranty.
